Gerald French Troy, 69, of Whiteville, died Sunday, January 21, 2024, at home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
The funeral will be 12:00 PM Friday, January 26, at Peoples Funeral Chapel by Rev. David Flowers. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Campground Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the funeral home Friday one hour prior to the service.
Surviving are his sisters, Anna Troy of Bladenboro, NC, Jacqueline Troy McCready and Bonnie Laney of Lexington, NC, Regina Miller of Clarksville, TN, Josephine Troy of Central Islip, NY, Barbara Polite of Corona, NY, and Doris Young of Fort Wayne, IN; brothers, Joseph Cephus Troy, Jr. of Pembroke, NC, Ben Troy of Linwood, NC, Dwight Troy of Fayetteville, NC, and Yuessef Ul-Bait of Syracuse, NY.
