Kathleen Doris Williams Rogers, 88, of Cerro Gordo, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Whiteville, NC.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rusty Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Tyson Cemetery, Cerro Gordo.
Visitation will be prior to the service in the chapel from 2:00-2:45 p.m.
Kathleen was born on April 20, 1936, daughter of the late James Dock Williams and Doshie McDuffie Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alton Bridger Rogers, a daughter, Bonnie R. Payne; siblings, JD Williams, Frank Williams, Donald Williams, Sally McCoy, Mary Ann Moore
Kathleen leaves her loving daughters, Bessie Hammond of Fair Bluff, Connie R. Brown of Trinity, Norma R. Hayes (Stephen) of Cerro Gordo, Sandra Lee Reynolds of Trinity; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ronnie Williams of Chadbourn, Betty Turbeville of Clarkton, Johnny Ray Williams of Chadbourn, Esther Babson of Clarkton.
