Mr. James Baldwin 61, of Whiteville, NC gave the Lord his hand and entered into eternal rest on Wednesday February 12, 2025, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC. He was the son of the late Mr. Earnest Lee Baldwin, Sr. and Mrs. Ressie Jones Baldwin.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 2:00 pm from Love Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Whiteville, NC with the Pastor Elder Ronald Brown eulogizing. Burial will follow in Welches Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Baldwin is survived by three sisters; Arlene Baldwin Mallory, Doretha Baldwin Burney, and Cynthia Baldwin Shipman, one brother; Earnest Lee Baldwin, Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
A viewing will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 12 to 2 pm in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel and again on Saturday one hour prior to services at the church.
Friends may visit the family at the home of Arlene Baldwin Mallory, 1952 Millie Christine Road, Whiteville, NC.
