Judy “Lorraine” Hayes Smith, 80, of Lake Waccamaw died on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at home.
Lorraine was born on April 5, 1944, daughter of the late William Arthur Hayes and Violet Mae Carroll. She is also preceded in death by her sister Ethel Deloris Hayes.
She was employed as a beautician at Shangri-la Beauty Shop in Lake Waccamaw until her retirement in 1973.
The surviving family includes her husband, Arthur Earl Smith; son, Scott Smith (Ramona) of Whiteville; and several grandchildren.
