Mary Alice Spivey Bennett, 82, of Clarendon, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Liberty Commons Nursing Home & Rehab Center in Whiteville.
Mary was born on May 28, 1942, daughter of the late Joseph Garland Spivey and Charlotte Grey McCumbee Spivey. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Myles Spivey, Pearl Sarvis, Jeanette Spivey and Margaret Hodge.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Worthington Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Cribb officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Tabor City.
Visitation will be from 2:00-2:45 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday.
Mary leaves behind her siblings, Joseph Niles Spivey, Charles Malcom Spivey, Jackie Spivey, and Lilly Barnes; host of loving nieces and nephews.
