Washington Street at Powell Boulevard has reopened in Whiteville after a crash and shooting this morning (April 13).
Whiteville Police Chief Paul Rockenbach said that one male was shot and transported to an area hospital. He did not immediately have the individual’s condition or name.
Streets were taped off from the Cookout restaurant on the south to Frink on the north.
