WHITEVILLE—Kenneth “Kenny” Ray Dyson, 76, of Whiteville, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare surrounded by his loving family.
Kenny was born on May 26, 1949 to the late Ernest Queen Dyson and Thelma Mae Ward. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry E. Dyson.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 3 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Jackie Strickland and Preacher Edwin Skipper officiating.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:30-2:45 p.m.
Surviving family includes, his wife Alice Elizabeth “Beth” Dyson of the home; sons, Kevin Dyson (Wendy) of Whiteville, Stephen Dyson (Tasha) of Whiteville, Terry Clifton (Dee Dee) of Clayton; brother, Charles E Dyson (Barbara) of Whiteville; grandchildren, Chase Dyson, Anna Grace Dyson, Liam Dyson, Brayden Dyson, Brendan Clifton, Owen Clifton, and Emersyn Lynn Clifton.
