Lillian Soles Carroll age 92, of Castle Rock, Co. passed on September 7, 2021 at her home.
She was a native of Columbus County, NC and was born to the late Barney Devon Soles and Rosa Allie Watts Soles on September 28, 1928. She was also preceded in death by six siblings, Lula S. Osborne, William “Bill” Soles, Estelle Soles Gore, Ruth Soles Smith, Janet Soles Arp and Agusta Soles Foy.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Worthington Funeral Home, with interment to follow in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery (Soles Road, Whiteville, NC), under the direction of Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn, NC.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-10:45, prior to the service, on Tuesday.
To cherish her memory she leaves five children, Charles Richard “Rick” Carroll (Nancy) of Stafford, VA, Judy C. Larsen (Ken) of Herriman, UT, William Gregory Carroll of Italy, Shelia Thompson (Brad) of Castle Rock, CO and Teresa C. Horton (Dave) of Newport News, VA; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
