A contractor cut a water line in the area of Flowers Pridgen Road in Whiteville this morning, leading to outages for several neighborhoods.
City Manager Darren Currie said repairs are underway. City crews are on the scene.
Neighborhoods around Flowers Pridgen will see periods without city water for several hours, Currie said.
