The county school system today began reporting weekly  COVID-19 numbers via the central office.

On its Facebook page, the Columbus County Schools shared a link to a new weekly listing that details how many children from which schools have tested positive, and how many are quarantined due to possible exposure at school. As of Nov. 30, the system reported that two siblings at Evergreen, and one student each at the Career and College Academy, Tabor City Elementary, and West Columbus High School are in quarantine. None of the students were known to have been exposed at school.

Students who test positive are quarantined for 14 days.

The list will be published every week, the school system said.
