January 21, 1944 ~ January 5, 2022 (age 77)
Harry O’Neil “Bill” McPherson, age 77 of the Beaverdam Community in Chadbourn, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Bill, as he was lovingly known, was born on January 21, 1944, to the late Liston and Ruth Ward McPherson. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Mildred Cartrette Pittman and Odell McPherson.
Bill was a dedicated member of Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church, and most of all, he loved his Lord and Savior. He was an electrician, employed by the nuclear power plant in Southport, for many years.
Funeral services will be private.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Wanda Jean McPherson; daughters Kimberly M. Faile (Ronny) of Lancaster, SC, Andrea M. Norris (Scott) of Clarendon; siblings, Reba Beck of Chadbourn, Maxine McPherson of Chadbourn, Myrtle M. Walker of Chadbourn, F.L. McPherson of Chadbourn, Carolyn McPherson of Chadbourn, Jackie McPherson of Chadbourn; grandchildren, Hannah Smith, Joshua Ward, and Matthew Ward.
