Grady Edward Ward, Sr. age 67 of Nakina, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at McLeod Loris Hospital in Loris, SC.
Grady was born on March 14, 1954. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Ward, Sr. and Virginia Ingram Ward, and his son, Grady E. Ward, Jr.
Final rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Neal Watson officiating.
Interment will follow in the Pine Level Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
He is survived by his son, Dock R. Ward of Smith Mountain Lake, VA, and his mother, Patricia Lynn Ward; siblings, Richard Ward of Hallsboro, Tom Ward of Nakina, Freddie Ward of Nakina, Kell Ward of Tabor City, Pete Ward of Hallsboro; four grandchildren, Mallory Rae Ward, Lena Drew Ward, Brendalyn Rayne Ward and Miracle Hunt.
