Kenneth Norberto Caraballo, age 54 of Bladenboro, NC went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 10, 2022, in Chapel Hill, NC. He was born January 24, 1968 in Denville, NJ, the son of Patricia (Caraballo) Polanco and the late Pastor Norberto Caraballo.
Kenny was a well-loved son, brother, father and friend. He was a truck driver and would use any opportunity to spread God’s Word at truck stops all over the country. His love of God was first, followed by his enormous love for his family and friends. He was funny, friendly, vivacious and talkative, just to name a few of his traits. He loved music and could be found creating his own “mixtapes”, back to the days of the cassette tape. He was a “foodie” and loved trying out new restaurants in whatever city he happened to be in at the time. It was no surprise to see him heading out the door for a late-night Best Buy run. He served his Lord steadfastly, with childlike faith and with boldness, never deterred by the enemy. A mighty man of God and fisher of men, who has gone to be with the Lord.
He is survived by his 3 Daughters: Carina Caraballo and husband Leroy Jenkins of S. Carolina, Jacqueline Cruz of Pennsylvania and Angelica Caraballo of N. Carolina; 5 Sisters: Laura Caraballo-Silva and husband Alex Silva of New Jersey, Christine Caraballo of New Jersey, Carissa Torres and husband David of Illinois, Desiree Caraballo of N. Carolina and Christi Caraballo of N. Carolina; 1 Brother: Joshua Caraballo of N. Carolina; 3 Grandchildren: Elijah, Mariah and Elijahnee.
His funeral service will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 13th, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn, NC. Service will be conducted by Pastor Russell Honeycutt. Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:45, p.m., prior to the service.
