John Douglas Suelter age 80 of Supply and formerly of Minneapolis, MN, entered into the presence of his Lord on Thursday, March 17, 2022.
John was born on February 19, 1942, to the late Wilbur Lawrence Suelter and Maude May Farnsworth Suelter. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by four brothers, Wilbur, Robert, Donald, and James: and three sisters, Barbara Hoewing, Judy Irish, and Sara DuBay.
John honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War; He was employed in the automotive industry, working as a service manager for several years before his semi-retirement and later starting his own handyman business.
John loved his family and cherished every moment he spent with them. He loved his projects and enjoyed helping friends and family with any project.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Jo Ostlund Suelter of the home; three children Beth (Eric) Schultz of Rosemount, MN, Michael (Susan) Suelter of Zimmerman, MN, and Daniel Suelter of Minneapolis, MN; sisters, Mary Lippert of Burlington, Iowa, and Kay (Les) Davis of Apache Junction, Arizona; six grandchildren, Courtny Schultz, Zachary, Erin, Tiffany Hunter, and Mikayla.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Minneapolis, MN.
