NHL Last Night: Hurricanes beat the Rangers 4-2. Sabastian Aho, Andrei Svechnikov, Jordan Staal and Set Jarvis scored for the Hurricanes. Frederik Andersen stopped 28/30 shots. The Hurricanes are 48-18-8 and in first place in the Metropolitan division. Carolina takes on the Redwings tomorrow at the PNC Arena, the puck drops at 7 p.m. 

Flyers fall to the Capitals 9-2 

Blues defeat the Bruins 4-2 

Ducks lost to the Panthers 3-2 in overtime 

Sabres beat Maple Leafs 5-2 

Senators defeat the Red Wings 4-1 

Penguins at Islanders 5-4 in a shootout 

Oilers cannot handle the Wild 5-1 

The Sharks lost to the Predators 1-0 in overtime 

The Kings defeated the Blackhawks 5-2 

Kraken took the loss from the Flames 5-3 

Lightning falls to the Stars 1-0 

Devils take care of the Coyotes 6-2 

Golden Knights get beaten by the Canucks 5-4 in overtime

NBA Play-In Tournament: 

Cavaliers get beaten by the Nets 115-108. Kyrie Irving had 34 points, 12 rebounds and Kevin Durant finished with 25 points for Brooklyn. 

Clippers fell to the Timberwolves 109-104. Paul George had 34 points in the loss for the Clippers.

NFL: The Las Vegas Raiders and quarterback Derek Carr agree to a three-year extension, worth $121.5 million. 

USFL: The new league kicks off next week with many of the same teams it launched with originally in the late 1980’s.  

NASCAR Cup Series: The next stop on the Cup Series is the Food City Dirt race Sunday April 17, at the Bristol Motor Speedway Dirt track in Tennessee. The flag drops at 7 p.m. and coverage is on FOX. 

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series: Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt is April 16, at the Bristol Motor Speedway. Flag drops at 6 p.m. 

NASCAR Xfinity Series: Next stop will be the Ag-Pro 300 on Saturday April 23, at the Talladega Superspeedway. The flag will drop at 4 p.m. on FOX.
