Wanda Jean Worley Phipps, age 64, died Thursday, September 8, 2022 in the UNC Neurology Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC.
Born in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Ashley Worley and Betty Estelle Lovette Worley.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Phipps of Tabor City, NC and four daughters: Dana Nealey and husband Tony of Green Sea, SC; Jessi Chapman and husband Lee of Bristol, TN; Dannie Jernigan and husband Wesley of Tabor City, NC; Nadia Phipps of Bristol, TN; and son-in-law Glenn McNeely of Loris, SC; and five grandchildren: Alex McNeely, Evie Chapman, Dominic Chapman, Christian Chapman, Ella Chapman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Lee Worley & Wayne Jacobs as well as one sister, June Worley Perritte.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 12, 2022 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 2:00pm in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gapway Cemetery, Tabor City, NC.
