Essie Novella Boone Faison, 99, of Whiteville, died Friday, October 20, 2023, at Liberty Commons.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, October 28, at New Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1980 Millpond Road, Whiteville, by Pastor Anthony Rowell. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Saturday 30 minutes prior to and following the service.
Surviving are her daughters, Rolene Boone Williamson of Clinton, NC and Lydia Faison of Baltimore, MD.
