International Paper (IP) announced that Jason Hoffmann has been named mill manager of the company’s Riegelwood Mill, assuming overall leadership responsibility for the facility on May 1.
Hoffmann began his career with International Paper in 1997 as a process engineer at Riegelwood. Since that time, he has taken on roles with increasing leadership responsibility including business unit manager for the Woodyard and Pulp, Power and Recovery, and Finished Products areas at Riegelwood and the company’s former Coated Paperboard mill in Texarkana, Texas. Since 2023, Jason has been the Operations Manager at the Riegelwood Mill.
“I am happy to turn the reins over to Jason Hoffmann to lead this team into the next phase for Riegelwood,” said Kevin Driscoll, current mill manager for the mill, who announced his retirement concurrently. “With his knowledge of the mill and people, he is the right person to take the mill to the next level in safety, performance and sustainability, now and into the future.”
Hoffmann earned bachelor of science degrees in Paper and Pulp Technology and Chemistry from Western Michigan University.
