Lake Waccamaw Issues Boil Water Advisory

Water coming out of the faucet
Lake Waccamaw has issued a boil advisory for water customers between 2012 Canal Cove Road and the end of Waccamaw shore, including Wooded Acres.
Customers will experience periods of low and no pressure while town crews make repairs to the system.
Water used for human consumption, including cooking, ice, brushing teeth and dishwashing, should be boiled, or bottled water used for those tasks.
The town says the advisory will remain in place until further notice.
