Last Saturday in Whiteville was all festive for the holidays with the Downtown Christmas Extravaganza. And as the darkness appeared, children of all ages lined the streets for the annual Downtown Christmas Parade presented by Downtown Whiteville Economic Development. After the parade, Economic Development Director Madison Ward welcomed Santa Clause to his sleigh where he greeted all the children.
