For the second time in two years, a Tabor City area home has been struck by gunfire.
No one was injured in the Dec. 7 drive-by shooting, the sheriff’s office reported. Deputy C. Brown and Sgt. Fonvielle responded to the 911 call.
Tenisha Bellamy told deputies that someone fired multiple shots at her home around 10:55 p.m. Dec. 5. No one was home at the time. She discovered the damage the next day.
Deputies found multiple empty shell casings, live ammunition, and a broken Glock magazine at the scene.
Bellamy’s home was hit in a similar drive-by shooting last year. Several people were inside the residence during the previous shooting, but no injuries were reported.
