A fundraiser plate sale for the family and children of Misty Cribb will be held this Saturday from 11:00 a.m.until 2 p.m. at Murf’s Pawn in Whiteville and Happy Home Baptist Church in Nakina. Tickets are $10.00 and are available at a number of area locations. call 910.625.0952 for tickets.
Due to hazardous road conditions, Whiteville City Schools, Columbus County Schools, and Classical Charter Schools of Whiteville, including Carolina Adventist Academy are operating on remote for this Friday.
GFL will not be providing trash collection today (Friday) due to icy conditions. Trash containers should be by the road tonight for pickup on Saturday.
