Jerrell Yoeman was arrested after a chase Thursday afternoon near Bolton. The Riegelwood man was wanted in Bladen County for assault with a deadly weapon, and allegedly fled from a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Blacksmith Road. He was held under $101,000 secured bond.

 

A juvenile was allegedly drinking beer when he was taken into custody with two older youths Wednesday. James Huggins, 18, and Layton Hall, 20, were charged with misdemeanor larceny contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and underage consumption of alcohol.

 

Dusty Johnathan Prince is being held under $20,000 secured bond after allegedly vandalizing New Life Baptist Church neat Tabor City. Mirrors, decorative items and other property were damaged during the break-in.
