Quashaun Freemen has been charged with murder in Tuesday’s killing in Sandyfield. Jonathan Baldwin died en route to New Hanover Regional after being shot, allegedly by Freeman, during an argument on Browntown Road.
Be prepared for delays and detours starting this week on N.C. 905 going into Brunswick County. The Department of Transportation will close 905 at the county line for most of the month of June while a pipe is replaced. Traffic will be detoured to N.C. 904, Ramsey Ford Road, and Big Cypress.
