James Willie Jones, 69, of Whiteville, died Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Elizabethtown Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
The funeral will be 12:00 noon Friday, June 20, at Welches Creek Baptist Church, 1733 Millie-Christine Road, Whiteville, NC. Burial will be in the Welches Creek Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Friday 30 minutes prior to the service.
Surviving are his mother, Virginia McKoy of Whiteville; sisters, Selena Rowell and Bridgette Spann of Whiteville, Janet McKoy-Davis of Upper Marboro MD, Priscilla McKoy and Annette McKoy of Charlotte, NC; brother, Dewey Jones of Ludowici GA.
