A truck driver was seriously injured, and two major highways are partially blocked after a commercial truck crash in Whiteville this morning.
The 18-wheeler partially burned after apparently leaving the roadway at the 74 overpass. The truck was left hanging partway off the bridge.
US 701 and US 74 are partially closed while the bridge is inspected and the wreckage cleaned up.
The driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Â
