The pastor of Happy Home Church is being held on underage sex charges in South Carolina. Devin Carroll, 22, was arrested by Conway Police on charges of attempting a lewd act and having sexual activity with a minor between 14 and 16 years old. He is being held under $30,000 secured bond.

The First Responder Basketball Tournament hosted by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office has been cancelled.

One suspect is in custody and another is being sought after a Saturday morning shooting almost wounded a toddler. Whiteville Police said more than 100 rounds were fired during a gunfight at Brookberry Apartments on MLK Avenue around 3:20 a.m. Four apartments and several vehicles were hit. A bullet missed the baby by less than a foot.
