Shirley Grey Rockwell Bragg, age 84, of Clarendon, NC passed away Monday, August 11, 2025 in her home.
Born August 5, 1941 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Rockwell and Clara Mae Butler Rockwell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Wallace Spivey, Joseph “Mitchell” Williams, and Dairl Bragg; and two sisters, Thelma Soles and Faye Larrimore.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Simmons (Richard) of Clarendon, NC; one son, Mitchell Williams (Christie) of Simpsonville, SC; five grandchildren, Ashley Corcelius (Aaron) of Bladenboro, NC, Robbie Cribb (Adam) of Whiteville, NC, Randi Harper (Drake) of Whiteville, NC, Abigail Williams of Simpsonville, SC, and Emily Williams of Simpsonville, SC; and six great grandchildren, Silas Corcelius, Lydia Corcelius, Lynden Corcelius, Cullen Harper, Anareese Harper, and Emersyn Harper.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 11:00 in the Iron Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in Danny Soles Cemetery.
