A boil water advisory has been issued for customers within Columbus County Water and Sewer District IV due to emergency repairs.
The affected areas include all customers on Alexander Court, Burns Road, Church Road, Cornwallis Road, West Cornwallis Road, Cross Lane, Green Road, Lakeside Drive, and Waccamaw Road, the county said in a press release.
Customers may see discoloration in water while the repairs are taking place, and should boil all water intended for consumption until further notice. The system is expected to be clear within 24 hours.
