Grissettown Longwood Fire & Rescue
Established 1985
Grissettown Longwood Fire & Rescue (GLFR) is a nonprofit organization located in Brunswick County, NC.
We provide fire, rescue, first responder and fire prevention to the citizens that live within our 30 square miles service district.
In 2024, GLFR received an ISO Class 2 rating. We are members of the North Carolina Association of Rescue and Emergency Medical Service where we meet many technical rescue standards.
During the month of October we host our largest fundraiser of the year. District 31 Haunted Trail occurs every Friday and Saturday night in October.
