August 22, 1941 ~ August 27, 2025 (age 84)
Virginia Gore Formyduval, age 84, of the Old Dock Community, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Virginia was born on August 22, 1941 to the late Elbert Gore and Rowena Clemmons Gore. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers; Bud Gore, Ricky Gore and Preston Gore and sister; Wanda Kay Ward.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband; Lanny Formyduval, son; Terry Olen Formyduval (Angela of Nakina, sister; Elsie Faulk of Chadbourn, brothers; Tommy Gore of Nakina, Danny Gore and Craig Gore both of Whiteville, and one grandson; Sebastian Formyduval.
A funeral service will be held at Old Dock Church on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 3:00 pm with Rev. Jeff Burton officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm – 2:45 pm prior to the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
