Child abuse charges have been filed against a woman who allegedly beat her son with a belt.
Gina Ann Soles, 35, of 4846 Old Stake Rd., Chadbourn, was arrested early today (Oct. 29) on two charges of misdemeanor child abuse. She was held under $5,000 secured bond, according to Detention Center records.
Warrants show that Soles is accused of beating the youth with a belt on Oct. 29, leaving multiple bruises on his back and legs.
