Spring registration is open at SCC. Prospective students and the community have a lot of options to learn a new skill, start a new career, or take a class for fun.
Thanks to multiple funding options and the NextNC Scholarship, there is plenty of funding to help students come to college for little to no cost. Students who register before Dec. 12 will be entered to win a $500 visa gift card.
Two new high-demand programs, electrical lineman and truck driver training, are significantly cut in cost. Electrical linemen training will be free, and the Truck Driver Training program’s registration fee is also waived.

SCC is here to help that population gain skills quickly and at a minimal to no cost, creating long-term careers and breaking the cycle of generational poverty in our county.
