One of the largest food pantry and assistance non-profits in the area is teaming up with area businesses for a canned food drive.
Community CPR is collecting canned goods for needy families in Columbus County. Canned and non-perishable foods can be dropped off at any of eight locations in Whiteville and one in Old Dock to help restock the shelves at CPR.

Founded to help local survivors of Hurricanes Matthew and Florence, Community CPR has grown to serve citizens throughout the county in all types of crises. CPR hosts Wednesdays at the Warehouse at its downtown location, where residents can find out more about resources in the area.
Donations may be dropped off during regular business hours. Check with the location first, since hours may vary.
