Here’s today’s Bottom Line:

The burn ban remains in place for the time being, at least as of the time of this writing.

Dry weather will persist through the entire week. At this point the Bermuda high pressure cell will take full control, and the frontal boundary about which I spoke yesterday is expected to stay farther to the north. Therefore really the only rain chances will come from a few spotty afternoon showers and storms Wednesday-Saturday.

The latest WPC projection shows NO rain … NONE whatsoever … for points east of I-95 through Easter afternoon.

That’s not good from a drought perspective. We really do need some rain.

Bermuda high pressure will be fully dominant with largely consistent features day-by-day. Partly to mostly sunny, highs in the lower 80s, lows around 60.

There’s not much more to report, quite honestly. Try to enjoy the warm and dry weather while we have before the true brutal heat and humidity eventually arrives.
