Here’s today’s Bottom Line
A dissipating frontal boundary will be the focus for isolated thunderstorms this afternoon. Like yesterday, if you’re underneath one of these storms, it’s going to rain buckets and produce lots of lightning, and some modestly gusty winds. But most areas will get nothing.
Then… the heat.
Highs will be soaring into the upper 90s, flirting with the 100-degree mark by Friday. Heat index values will probably approach advisory criteria (105+) Thursday through Saturday.
There may be a few isolated/spotty showers/storms over the weekend on the sea-breeze boundary. Maybe. If we’re lucky.
