TABOR CITY—Columbus County defeated South Columbus Black 5-3 in the championship of the District 2 Division 1 Major League Tournament on Wednesday at Tabor City Baseball Sports Complex.
Columbus County will represent District 2 in the state tournament as champions.
South Columbus Black will also advance to the State Tournament as an at-large bid. Both teams displayed poise and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
