Here’s today’s Bottom Line
Not an awful lot to write about today. Our weather week will really just feature one event, and that is a passing frontal boundary late Tuesday night.
Today and Tuesday should be mostly sunny and mostly dry… but a few isolated storms may fire on the sea-breeze boundary in the late afternoon or early evening today. Tomorrow will feature similar conditions, but there’s an increasing storm threat from the northwest through the evening hours. It’s also going to be rather hot on Tuesday with triple-digit heat index values likely… possibly reaching heat advisory criteria.
The aforementioned front cruises on by late Tuesday night, likely with a round of thunderstorms accompanying it. There is at least an isolated threat for damaging winds with what will probably be a broken squall line very late Tuesday night.
High pressure then brings dry — and seasonable — weather for Wednesday and Thursday, while humidity starts to build once again going into the weekend.
