Friday is the deadline to have photos submitted for the Veterans Memorial Park Wall of Honor.
Photos of any veteran of war or peace time, from any era, will be included on the wall for free. All photos will be scanned and returned. The photos will also be available for viewing on a slide show.
The Veterans Memorial Park will have a banner containing all 1,300-plus photos on display at the Columbus County Fair in October. Organizer Angela Norris said she hopes to have 1,500 photos before the deadline Friday.
