In Elizabethtown, Jayce Hatcher scored two goals as East Bladen defeated North Duplin 3-1 in soccer on Monday.
The Eagles’ Andrio Garcia added a goal in the victory. The Eagles (1-1, 4-4-1) will take on West Columbus (0-3, 1-6) on Wednesday in Elizabethtown. North Duplin falls to 1-2 in the Carolina Conference and 1-3-1 overall. The Rebels will host Hobbton (1-1, 5-5) Wednesday.
In Laurinburg, the Whiteville Wolfpack downed Scotland County 3-1 in soccer on Monday.
Whiteville moves to 4-4-3 on the year. Dakota Locklear scored a goal and Nathan Ward had an assist in the loss. Scotland County (4-5-2) will do a rematch with the Wolfpack in Whiteville on Wednesday.
In the Swamp, East Columbus downed county rival West Columbus 5-1. East Columbus (1-1, 3-2-1) will travel to Elizabethtown Wednesday to face East Bladen (1-1, 4-4-1).
West Columbus falls to 0-3 in the Carolina Conference and 1-6 on the year. The Gators will host Union (3-0, 3-7) at Lake Waccamaw on Wednesday.
