Three Jailed After Green Acres Operation

A months-long investigation into alleged drug activity in a notorious Columbus County community sent three men to jail Friday.
Dalvin Davonta Smith, 26; Don Smith, 44; Demetrick Smith, 30, and Tanicka Veonka Banks, 31, were all arrested on multiple drug charges, according to a sheriff’s office press release.
Investigators conducted several controlled drug deals at 515 Pine Circle Rd., Tabor City in the Green Acres area over the course of several months, the release said. Officials obtained and executed the search warrant Friday (Sept. 25). They allegedly recovered quantities of cocaine and marijuana.
All three men gave their addresses as 515 Pine Circle in court documents.
Dalvin Smith was held under $25,000 secured bond, charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine and Schedule II narcotics; maintaining a dwelling for drug activities, and possession of paraphernalia.
Don Smith was placed under $75,000 bond. He faces charges of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine and Schedule II narcotics; manufacture of Schedule II; felony cocaine possession; possession of drugs in a jail; and drug paraphernalia.
Demetrick Smith faces charges of possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a place for drug activity, and paraphernalia. His bond was set at $15,000.
Davis was charged with drug paraphernalia and simple possession of Schedule II narcotics. Her bond was set at $1,500, unsecured. Her address was listed as 105 Turlington Dr., Apt. C, Tabor City.
