Whiteville Police are investigating the second city homicide in three days. Chief Paul Rockenbach said a woman was foundshot to death in an apartment at Covey Run Tuesday afternoon. Investigators were on the scene until 3:30 a.m. The victim’s name has not been released. This is a developing story.
