Three jail inmates test positive for COVID

DEVELOPING: Three inmates at the Columbus County Detention Center have tested positive for COVID-19, officials said Friday.

Chief Deputy Aaron Herring said the jail medical staff is monitoring the condition of the detainees. Additional information will be released as soon as possible, Herring said.
