Harry Lee Edwards, Jr., age 66, of Lake Waccamaw, N.C., died Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his residence. Harry was born in Columbus County on December 5, 1954 to the late Harry Lee Edwards, Sr. and Rachel Williamson Edwards.
He was a member at Lake Waccamaw Presbyterian Church. Harry worked with North Carolina Parks as a Park Ranger. He also was affiliated with the Lake Waccamaw Fire and Rescue Department for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife; Mary Ruth Arnason Edwards of Lake Waccamaw, a half sister; Rachel Williamson of Southport, N.C., as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021, in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lake Waccamaw at 2:00 pm with Rev. Darryll Hester officiating.
