Mrs. Rita T. Lewis 87, of Whiteville passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at her daughters home. She was born June 25, 1934 in Wilson County, the daughter of the late Larry and Susan Wooten Tyson.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Whiteville.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ressie L. (R.L.) Lewis; daughters, Leslie L. Robinson and husband, Rick of Goldsboro and Kim Smith and husband, Mark of Whiteville; grandchildren, Christy Stoops (Jason), Melissa Raff (Erik), Leigh Edwards (Chris); great grandhildren, Andrew Stoops, and Zoey Raff.
Interment will be held at a later date.
