Russell Larue Clemons, age 76, of Green Sea, SC died Friday, July 2, 2021 in his home. Born January 12, 1945 in Columbus County, NC, he was the son of the late Billy Larue and Ollie Lewis Clemons.
He is survived by his wife Kay Clemons of the home; three sons: Kim Clemons of Green Sea, SC, Donovan Clemons and his wife Ashley of Tabor City, NC, and Kevin Clemons and his wife Nichole of Green Sea, SC; two daughters: Christa Fowler and her husband Kent of Chadbourn, NC and Billie Jo Stevens of Loris, SC; eleven grandchildren: Logan Fowler, Chelsea Clemons, Corbin Clemons, Austin Fowler and his wife Leslie, Cole Miller, Payton Clemons, Zeb Clemons, Nicholas Mincey, Nathan Clemons, Nick Clemons, Bailey Clemons; great-grandchild: Paisleigh “Honey Bun” Miller and sister: Pam Spivey and her husband Billy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Michael Clemons and one granddaughter: Macy McKenzie Clemons.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Green Sea Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
