Marilyn McPherson Beck, age 67, of Beaverdam Community died Friday, August 13, 2021 in the New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC.
Born September 8, 1953 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of Hazel Hinson McPherson and the late Jacob “Jake” McPherson.
In addition to her mother, she was survived by her husband, Bobby Beck of the home, one daughter, Nicole Barton and her husband Robert of Chadbourn, two granddaughters, Zoey Barton Shifflett and Savanna Barton, three brothers, Darrell McPherson and his wife Diane of Chadbourn, NC, Javie McPherson and his wife Debbie S. of Chadbourn and Steve McPherson and his wife Debbie B. of Chadbourn, one sister, Annette Turbeville and her husband Donald of Chadbourn.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the McPherson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service in the cemetery.
