Mrs. Jones of Clarkton, moved into her Heavenly home on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.
Services to commemorate the legacy of Mrs. Jones; Friday, October 8, 2021 between 10am – 11am, visitation at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in NC. Immediately following the visiting hours at 11am. Immediately following the proceedings in the house of worship, visitors will be escorted to Clarkton Community Cemetery for interment rites.
Those close to Mrs. Geneva knew she loved cooking and fishing. Now, all can find comfort knowing that on Thursday, she stepped on The Great Ship of Zion, trading her pots and pans for a pair of Golden Slippers and her fishing gear for a Long White Robe.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a husband: Johnnie Jasper Jones; one daughter: Roseena Jones; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother: Willie McCall and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and various friends.
