Mrs. Jannie Lee Kemp Yeoman McCoy, 81 of Whiteville gained her heavenly wings on Tuesday October 5, 2021 at The Angel House Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center, Whiteville.
She was the daughter of Janie Kemp McMillan and Robert Vereen.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Monday October 11, 2021 at 1pm from the front of First St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Pastor Lester James Frink, Sr. eulogizing. Burial will follow in the Campground Cemetery.
She is survived by her children: Beulah Y. Bellamy, Janice Y. Smith (Alfred), Roger L. Yeoman, Jr.(Joan), Louise Y. Elkins, and Cassandra Y. Kelly (Greg), her brothers and sisters: Katherine Ervin, Nora Barr, Hazel James, Christine Shipman, Lillie Berkley, Rachel Brown, Mae Helen Brown, Rev. Benny Kemp, Elder Walter Kemp, Hayes McMillan, Jr., Edward Lee Berkley, Reginald Berkley, Julius Berkley, and Rick Robinson; grandchildren: Kalisha Bellamy Smith (Eddie), Lawrence Bellamy, Jeremy Bellamy, Anwaar Smith, Krystal Elkins Purdue (Matt), Ryan Elkins, La-Kepha Yeoman, Janiqua Yeoman, Charles Blanks, Eric Blanks, Tijuana Ingram, Latasha Ingram, Kimberly Ingram, Christopher Cunningham (Andrecia), Great-grandchildren: Jennifer Powell, Deshawn Bryant, Marcus Bellamy, Marquvan Bellamy, Kierra Hines, Trayvon Baldwin, Kylen Belton, Jordin Smith, Christopher Smith, Kiyan Wilcox, Zaevier Bowen, Royel Davis, Ja’Niyah Young, Jaylen Currie, Jace McDuffie, Aaderius Blanks, Mason Harris, Julian Ingram, Mariah Goins, Halle Gatewood, Marissa Cunningham, Peyton Cunningham, Christopher Cunningham, Jr., Great-great grandchildren: Zhymeire Holliday, Giselle Cooke, Zachariah Hines, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
A walk through viewing will be held on Sunday October 10, 2021 from 3 to 5pm from the Smith Funeral Home Chapel Whiteville.
A facial covering is required for viewing and service.
