Nellie Faye Wilson, 82, of Ash, North Carolina, died October 13, 2021. Born in Brunswick County on February 27, 1939, she was a daughter of the late William Fitzhugh Lovett and Carrie Holden Lovett. She was the last of eight siblings. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was predeceased by a son, Michael “Mike” Wilson and her husband, Carl Edgar Wilson.
She was a retired farmer and a long time active member of Longwood Baptist Church. She was a person the community went to when the need arose.
Surviving are her sons, Muriel Wilson (Sandra) and Donald Wilson (Cassie) of Ash; grandchildren, Kippy Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Josh Wilson, and Amanda Dawn Enzor; great grandchildren, River Wilson, Alexis Enzor, Braxton Enzor, Katie Wilson, Sara Wilson and Destiny Wilson; and several nieces and nephews that she loved like her own.
Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte Chapel, by The Rev. Kenny Todd. Burial will follow in the Carl E. Wilson Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
